One simple thing we can all do to save water is put flow restrictors on our faucets. It only takes a few minutes to do and you really don’t notice unless you’re in a huge hurry to fill a large pitcher. It’s especially good to have flow restrictors in the bathroom faucets for hand and face washing and teeth brushing. Although you should turn the faucet off while brushing your teeth. I can also say that changing old water guzzling toilets to new low flow and dual flow toilets will save water. All these things will save you money to boot. In some parts of the country it’s hard to remember that water is a real premium. It’s our most valuable resources and we all need to do our part to conserve it.
