Do you have money to burn? Most people don’t, but still continue to leave their car idling. I see it all the time at my daughter’s daycare/preschool. I’m amazed at the number of people who leave not just a car idling, but large gas-guzzling trucks and SUVs. If you’re going to let your car idle longer than 17 seconds, turn it off. You think your mpg is low? Well, how about getting a zero mpg. That’s what happens when you leave your vehicle idling any longer than 17 seconds. Can we really afford to waste that money or gas? I don’t think so. Do your wallet, the air and our gas supplies a favor and turn off that engine.
