If you’re remodeling a kitchen or bath and are looking at a new countertop here’s one to consider Eco by Cosentino http://www.ecobycosentino.com/index.cfm . This is a beautiful countertop. The best part is that it’s made from 75% post-industrial and post-consumer materials and bound with an eco-friendly resin. Some of the materials used are porcelain, mirror, crystallized ash, glass, stone scraps and corn. The colors are not really bright or colorful ones. There are 10 colors that range from nearly white to nearly black. Eco reminds me of some of the quartz countertops. It seems to have a lot of the same qualities as the quartz ones do i.e. non-porous and no sealer needed. More eco-friendly choices in decorating is always good.
