With the upcoming holiday I started thinking about ways to green St. Patrick’s Day. Yes, we all know we’re suppose to wear green that day, but how can we really be green. It’s pretty hard to find organic corned beef, but you can find organic cabbage, potatoes and best of all, beer! If you make an Irish stew you can find all the veggies organically and throw in some organic stew meat. If you get very ambitious, find an organic green t-shirt or put an iron-on shamrock or patch on a white one. One last thing is that you could plant something green. If it’s too cold where you live right now, like it is here, then plant something inside that you can transplant outside later. Make sure it’s organic and put it in a reused or recycled pot to boot.
