I’ve been doing research for the blog. It’s been tough, but someone has to do it. I now have a wine to recommend. See, I told you it was tough work. The winery is True Earth. I’ve only tried one of their wines, but it’s very nice. It’s a merlot/petite sirah blend. This is not a 100% organic wine, but it’s grapes are grown organically. To be considered a 100% USDA organic wine the winery cannot add sulfites. Sulfites protect wine from oxygen and allow the wine to last longer. My preference is to drink a wine with organic grapes, but still have sulfites. People with sulfite allergies can get wines that are free of them, but you have to drink it young, usually less than 18 months.
